ACTS School Graduation 2013

Students celebrated and received awards
ACTS staff, board members, representatives from the military and government officials attended ACTS Awards Celebration for students.

The celebration was attended by staff, local government officials, ACTS board, members of the military, family and students.

Students from each class entertained guests with song, dance, drama and Bible verse recitations. Visitors were treated to a style show of clothes created by seamstresses and exhibits of carpentry and welding students.

The Lord favored us with many blessings this past school year. All 68 primary students who were elgible to take the final primary grade exam passed for advancement to secondary school classes.

All the best students from each primary and secondary class received a gift.

The student of the year award went to Koama Alidou who received a savings account with the equivalent of US$70.

"Student of the Year," Alidou, came to the ACTS Center four years ago.

Koama Alidou, found refuge at the Hope Center when his father left the family four years ago. Alidou is growing in stature and in spirit and doing well in his studies. Though still young, he has the ambition to be a medical doctor in the future.

We are thankful to God for the favor given to the ministry and students. Praise to the Lord!

Kiendrebeogo Levis gave his testimony.

"I am Kiendrebeogo Levis and I have three sisters. Our family had difficulties in obtaining sufficient food, paying for schooling and were sickly. I have found joy for life because I was accepted for undergoing a training in carpentry at the ACTS Center. I am asking God to help me finish my training in order to establish my own business.

"My deepest wish is to be able to help my sisters become trained professionals. I am grateful to ACTS for preparing me for my future."

The children at ACTS schools receive academic training along with the gospel message. Many poor village boys and girls found faith in Christ through the ACTS schools. Children experience for themselves the peace, security and future they have in Christ.

At the ACTS Center a pre-school through secondary school educational program is in place for orphans and poor village children

Annually, students at certain levels are required to take national exams in order to progress to the next level.

We are proud of the 2012-2013 graduates from ACTS primary, secondary and vocational schools.
