Orphans baptized at Temple Evangélique El Roï

“So the Word became flesh and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.” John 1:14

Every day we thank God for sending his Word to the students. Students enrolled in the ACTS schools receive a good academic education, but best of all they are introduced to our wonderful Savior. Each has opportunity to receive salvation through faith in Him.

On Sunday, November 28, more than 27 children and adults were baptized at Temple Evangélique El Roï.

The photos below were taken on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the church after the baptism service. This was the day that 27 orphans and adults were baptized. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness. You can read more about the baptisms in a newsletter from December 2010.

Two of the orphans baptized are pictured below with their testimonies.

Enoch and Jocelyn were two of the orphans baptized at Temple Evangélique El Roï

At his baptism Enoch gave this testimony:

"I have give my life to the Lord, I love him with all my heart and because I want to obey his word I have decided to be baptized and I am happy because I have this opportunity."

Jocelyn has been living at the Hope Center Orphanage for three years now. After her baptism Jocelyn said:

"I have decided to go through water baptism because I want to obey the word of God and publicly show that I have given my life to the Lord Jesus and my life belongs to him."

Children and adults baptized at Temple Evangélique El Roï come from various backgrounds... some come from Muslim families and some from animist families.

During weekly evangelistic campaigns from March to October 178 villagers gave their lives to the Lord Jesus.
