NABALOUM AGUIRATOU

Nabaloum Aguiratou was one of the three ACTS graduates who received a sewing machine at the commencement ceremony at the end of June, 2014.

"My name is Nabaloum Aguiratou. I was born into a Muslim family in the village of Saonré.

"I have four sisters and a brother. We encounter many difficulties in our family, therefore it is not easy to have meals every day or proper clothing for all of us.

"Medical treatment is not an option when we are sick. It is impossible for my family to pay tuition for all of us to attend school.

"Before hearing about ACTS, I was not in school and had no life skills. I had stopped attending school because my parents could not afford to pay the tuition.

"One day, my uncle informed me of training offered at the Hope Center, so I went to inquire about the professional training. To my amazement, I was accepted and able to enroll in the clothing construction program.

"I am very satisfied to be part of that training in sewing. It has allowed me to obtain my qualification certificate and with the sewing machine I received as an award for working hard, I will be able to start my own seamstress business.

"I am grateful to ACTS and to all their partners for this unique opportunity. You gave me the chance to make a difference in my life. I will be able to help my family and when I have a family of my own, I will be able to feed and clothe them. Thank you so much."

ACTS Ministry thanks partners who make testimonies such as this possible. Your gifts and prayers are an integral part of our ministry.

ACTS reaches AIDS orphans and village children without distinction of their religious background, through holistic projects which restore human dignity. We encourage them to become self supporting and remain members of their community.

Through the practical means described above, ACTS Ministry brings hope and gives a future to AIDS orphans and other children at risk.

By partnering with ACTS Ministry you develop local capacities and reduce misery and death from poverty in the countryside.
