K. Israel Ilboudo is part of the new generation of Christian leaders in Burkina Faso.

He is educated, motivated to help the poor and has a grasp on the Scriptures. He is a man of prayer and compassion.

Israel has an MBA from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. In August he will begin doctoral studies in strategic leadership with Regent University of Virginia Beach, Virginia. His course will be completed through Regent's online study program.

K. Israel Iloudo is the eldest son of Joanna and Florent Ilboudo of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He and his wife, Linda, have a son born in 2016.

Early in 2014, the Lord prompted us to transition the leadership of ACTS from Joanna to Israel as director in Burkina Faso. The transition was a little earlier than we had originally planned, but we felt it was time for the next generation to take a leadership role.  This decision has proven to be a very good one.

As he grew up, Israel learned the ministry by watching and listening to his mom. He brought his financial expertise, managing skills and experience in the business world to continue the work of ACTS with excellence.

With degrees in finance and leadership and his professional business background, Israel is uniquely positioned to head the work of ACTS in Burkina Faso. ACTS is an organization with an annual budget of $386,000 and a staff of 42.

Some staff members have known Israel since he was a child. We reminded Israel of the admonition of Paul to Timothy: "Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity."

In the year Israel has had oversight of ACTS in Burkina Faso, he has been able to find ways to cut expenses and earn money from projects. The money he saved amounts to approximately $100,000 which is an amazing feat for an organization in Burkina Faso.

We are expecting good things to happen in the future.

Continue to pray for Israel, Joanna and the work of ACTS. The Lord has led us to pursue many avenues to bring the lost to salvation in Jesus Christ. An outreach of this kind takes much prayer, finances and conscientious leadership.

The Lord promises he will bring light to the dark regions and free the captives. We are privileged to be part of his laborers in the harvest.
