Electric power comes to the ACTS Center

electric

Electric power lines run from Ouagadougou to the ACTS Center.

Electricity gives ACTS an opportunity to expand our vocational program.

Village children are restricted by poverty and cultural bias. Girls are held back from attending school or training.

ACTS opens the door for boys and girls to learn professional skills such as sewing and carpentry. Those who finish training are given internships and are able to find jobs to earn a living. Pray for them to find job openings.

With donations from partners and friends, ACTS has been able to connect with electrical power coming from Ouagadougou. Having electricity at the ACTS Center gives us the ability to expand vocational training to include welding to our list of skill development opportunities for the poor.

The electric lines also connect with the Ellel Medical and Dental Center. Electricity enable the staff to more efficiently serve patients and to provide more services.

We thank the friends who helped us connect the electric service.

ACTS Center in Saonré is dedicated to giving a hand up and not a handout to the forgotten ones of Burkina Faso...widows and orphans.
