MESSAGE FROM ACTS MINISTRY USA
For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11
January, 2013
Dear friends and partners,
Although 2012 was a difficult year financially, the Lord showed himself strong on the behalf of widows and orphans in Burkina Faso. He has been faithful to His Word in Psalm 84. He promised that he would not withhold any good thing from us.
Contributions during fiscal year
Our fiscal year ending September 30, 2012, has been audited and financial statements show total support and revenue to be $210,477. This includes $99,384 in the value of non-cash items donated to ACTS Ministry, such as a container full of vitamin-enriched food.
Expenses for the fiscal year were $210,915. The percentage of funds expended for programs in Burkina Faso is 91%. Rising cost of goods and services mean that we must find additional funds to continue projects and pay salaries for staff.
Baptisms at Temple Evangélique El Roï
We saw an increase in the number of baptisms at Temple Evangélique El Roï. Prayer, evangelistic events at the church and teams visiting surrounding villages have expanded the outreach program at the church. This is significant because many of the baptism candidates had to renounce Islam and witchcraft. We give all the praise to the Lord.
Increased enrolment at schools
Our schools have greatly increased enrolment over last year. There are 650 students enrolled in our three schools. For this we are praising the Lord. More children will hear the Gospel. The sports evangelism project is part of our annual program and reaches children living in villages more remotely located from the ACTS Center. We pray they will find His love irresistible.
Containers sent to ACTS in Burkina Faso
Two containers of food, clothing, medicine, supplies, furniture and a vehicle were sent at the end of the calendar year. The food was a priority for these shipments. Due to the scanty rains last fall and dismal harvests, there is a shortage of food in the country.
The food sent this year was especially appreciated because of famine in the country. Burkina Faso and the other countries in West Africa have not received sufficient rain for two years. Our children will not go hungry thanks to generous families from the US who helped supply ACTS with vitamin-enriched meals through Heaven Sent Ministry and Feed My Starving Children.
Evangelism
In Burkina Faso more lives were reached by the Gospel. Evangelism is an integral part of the ACTS plan for the rural community. Through evangelistic campaigns and the daily programs, men, women and children came to faith in Christ. The literacy program for village women is very successful.
ACTS was established in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation in the US and is a registered NGO in Burkina Faso. The Ellel Medical Center is registered as a hospital in Burkina Faso. Our primary school, Ecole Le Solidarity and College Ezra secondary school are registered with the Burkinabé government. Students have passed required national exams with excellent marks. ACTS Hope Orphanage is registered with the Ministry of Social Action.
If you would like a copy of our financial statement to be sent to you, please send your request to ACTS at actsministry05@sbcglobal.net.
We are grateful for the faithful prayers and generous support of caring friends like you who make this ministry possible. Thank you, and may God bless you according to his promise in Psalm 41.

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor.
The Lord rescues them in times of trouble.
The LORD protects them and keeps them alive.
He gives them prosperity and rescues them from their enemies.
The LORD nurses them when they are sick and eases their pain and discomfort. |
Most sincerely,
Sharyl J. Sieh
